My approach to
teaching is pretty simple:
1.
We
sit down and figure out exactly where you want to go with your playing.
I’ll listen to what you have to say, and then we'll trade some licks, then both decide whether or
not my teaching will be beneficial to your advancement.
I don’t want to waste your time.
If tapping is where you want to go, you’re probably better off with a
different teacher. I do some tapping, but it’s not my forte’.
All-around chord structures, scales, effects, and soloing in all styles of music
ARE my
forte’. I have a very good sense of how to achieve a “Sound” or a musical
atmosphere.
2.
Then we will set short-term goals to work our way to your long-term
goal.
3.
When you say “I’m where I want to be”;
we’ll say “Bye”.
